Week 39

Things have been a little busy around here.  We have gone to doctor’s appointments, a car-seat installation inspection, a few baby showers from my wonderful colleagues and kiddos, ordered parts for the crib my husband decided to break, finished the nursery, started packing a hospital bag, met with Brynzlee’s pediatrician, spent some time at home with family for Easter, and much more.  It has been a good busy.  Having the nursery done finally allows me to feel ready for her.

I have been having some contractions recently and so it is finally feeling like she will be coming soon.  I can’t wait to hold my little angel and see what she looks like!

I give you….the nursery (minus the bumper that grandma will be finishing as soon as crazy tax season is finished.)

The hand-me-down “Jenny Lind”crib that gave us a lot of trouble but came out looking fabulous!  Ruffle bed skirt- made by my momma

I am obsessed with how cute the letters turned out!

These are the pictures we had drawn while in Disney.  They fit perfectly in the frames I picked up from Hobby Lobby.  They sell these on etsy for around $70 a piece but with the weekly coupon I got these babies for about $20 a piece…just call me “bargain hunter”.

Love this shelf!  The booties were given to my grandma when she was pregnant with my mom.  The piggy bank was mine when I was a baby. Of course the hat is from our trip.  I picked up the blocks from third Sunday market…the lowercase “e” is my favorite!

Brynzlee better love books as much as her mom does! :) Several of these are from the amazing friends and family members that came to my shower.  I love how she will be able to read the personal messages in them!

We are getting more and more excited and ready for her arrival each day.  Bring on the craziness! :)
